Do you have a biblical worldview? Just what is a biblical worldview, and why is it so important?

In our nation today, many Christians, unfortunately, live in a way that is indistinguishable from non-Christians. How we spend our money, our time, and our energy says a lot about what we believe. The way we think, the television shows and movies we watch, the clothes we wear, and the food we eat is all related to our worldview.

Surprisingly, a 2003 survey by the Barna Research Group of Ventura, Calif., found that only 9 percent (9%) of professing Christians in the United States have a biblical worldview.

To counter this slide within the body of Christ, Mid-America Christian University is partnering with the Oklahoma Family Policy Council to bring Focus on the Family’s The Truth Project to Oklahoma City on Saturday, September 27, 2008. This life-changing simulcast event, broadcast live from Colorado Springs, Colo., will not only help your church members to carefully and prayerfully take inventory of their own worldview, but prepare them to share this vital message with others in their spheres of influence.

Each person or couple attending The Truth Project will be given the complete course, taught by Dr. Del Tackett, to share in small group settings—a $79 value. This home study is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. Each of the 12 DVD-based lessons discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living out the Christian worldview our daily lives, in union with Christ.

We believe this project represents the possibility for great change within the body of Christ.
