Registering to Vote in Oklahoma
If you a U.S. citizen, age 18 or older, and an Oklahoma resident, and you wish to register to vote in Oklahoma, you may obtain a Voter Registration Form either by contacting your County Election Board (see the blue Government pages of your phone book for the number) or by visiting many local tag agent offices, post offices, and libraries statewide.
Alternatively, if you have computer access, you may also visit the Oklahoma State Election Board's Web-site and download the Voter Registration Form directly to your computer. Print and complete the form. Return it to election officials by mail, postage paid, at least several days up to a month prior to the election in which you wish to vote (but, in all cases, not less than 24 hours prior to the election). Election officials will mail you your voter identification card.
For more information about registering to vote in Oklahoma, please call the Oklahoma State Election Board at (405) 521-2391.
Oklahoma Family Policy Council's two offices in metropolitan Oklahoma City (Bethany) and Tulsa also each have a supply of Voter Registration Forms, which are available to the general public. You may pick up a form from OFPC, if that is more convenient for you. However, please call first before you come by: (405) 787-7744 (OKC) or (918) 610-5337 (Tulsa).
