Pornography Initiative

OFPC's Pornography Initiative, currently under development, includes:

1) citizen-based efforts to reduce the presence and spread of pornography in communities across Oklahoma;

2) cooperative legal efforts with law enforcement, municipal officials, and state legislators to regulate sexually oriented businesses in Oklahoma and to encourage the prosecution of obscenity crimes, including child pornography;

3) a multimedia educational component for concerned citizens, churches, civic clubs, parents, teachers, youth organizations, and schools; and

4) compassionate, loving outreach to pornography victims, exploited workers in the sex industry, and the sexually addicted.

Pornography Awareness Presentation

Central to the OFPC Pornography Initiative is a PowerPoint™ and multimedia presentation, prepared by OFPC and our partners, which gives Oklahomans perspective about the extent and impact of soft- and hard-core pornography in our culture, existing federal and state laws, and effective strategies to combat pornography and sexually oriented businesses.

The presentation also educates parents and children about the real dangers and effects of pornography—and the different methods pornographers are using today, based on biological differences between the sexes, to capture men, women, boys, and girls in the Internet-age.

OFPC's presentation also discusses online safety and protection from sexual predators.

OFPC's pornography awareness presentation is perfect for churches, men's groups, women's groups, youth groups, civic clubs, youth organizations, parent-teacher organizations, school assemblies, in-service teacher training days, etc.
