Donate

Thank you for supporting Oklahoma Family Policy Council's family-strengthening work across Oklahoma. Whether your gift is large or small, OFPC gratefully appreciates your donation.

Making a charitable, tax-deductible gift is easy. We invite you to:

1.  Donate Monthly to OFPC Electronically:

Many people appreciate the convenience of contributing to OFPC monthly and automatically, direct from their checking or savings account electronically, via Electronic Funds Transfer/Automated Clearinghouse. There is no charge to you to give this way, and the service can be changed or stopped at any time by a simple phone call to OFPC.

You choose a regular amount to give, and inform OFPC of this amount. Also, tell us whether you want your gift transferred to OFPC monthly on the 7th or 22nd. We do all the rest.

  • To begin, simply click on the following link to download OFPC's Electronic Funds Transfer Form in PDF format. Return the completed form and your voided check to OFPC. It's that easy!

To request the EFT Form, please click here: Electronic Funds Transfer Form

Note: Online viewing requires Abode Acrobat Reader, which is available free by clicking on the following link:

2.  Donate to OFPC by Writing a Check:

Mail your personal or company check, made payable to OFPC, to the following address:

Oklahoma Family Policy Council
Attn: Internet Donations
3908 N. Peniel Avenue, Suite 100
Bethany, OK 73008-3458

(NOTE: Donations made by check allow OFPC to realize the maximum benefit of your generosity. No credit card transaction fees apply (usually 2% to 4% of the gift), so more money is put to work strengthening Oklahoma's families! This is a factor many OFPC donors like to consider in their charitable giving.)

3.  Donate to OFPC by Credit Card:

Many people today appreciate the convenience of giving by credit card. If you prefer to give to OFPC in this way, may we suggest two easy options:

Donate to OFPC by Credit Card via Network for Good:
Network for Good, a nonprofit organization, invites donors to make credit card donations to OFPC free-of-charge on their secure server. Remarkably, Network for Good does not charge donors or charities for this valuable service.

Please Consider Paying the Credit Card Transaction Fees:
Donors are invited to also make an extra contribution, if they wish, to pay the credit card transaction fees (usually 2% to 4% of the total donation), which are assessed by the credit card companies (this allows OFPC to receive 100 percent of a donor's intended contribution).

If you wish to give now to OFPC via credit card on a secure server through the Network for Good, please click here or on the picture link below:

4.  Host a Social Event to Benefit OFPC:

Many of your friends and neighbors would enjoy learning about the Oklahoma Family Policy Council, our statewide work, and OFPC's strategic association with Focus on the Family, in a social setting.

We invite you to gather a group together one evening for an informational dessert/coffee event in your home. Alternatively, a breakfast or lunch event at a restaurant, office, private club, church, or other location can be another workable possibility.

OFPC Executive Director Michael Jestes—joined by members of OFPC's Board of Directors and staff—will present a short, informative program for your guests.

There's no pressure for your guests to give (only the opportunity) and many new friends are made during an enjoyable, informative time. It's simply the best way to let your friends and associates know about Oklahoma Family Policy Council's work across the Sooner State.

To begin a conversation about scheduling such an event, please call OFPC Executive Director Michael Jestes at (405) 787-7744 or e-mail: info@okfamilypc.org. Mike will work with you to find a mutually convenient time and place and provide help, if you wish, with inviting your guests. Thank you for your leadership and generous hospitality, to benefit OFPC's ongoing work statewide in so many areas of importance.

Learn About OFPC's Finances:

How OFPC Is Funded:

You may be interested to know that, although Oklahoma Family Policy Council is closely associated with Dr. James C. Dobson's Focus on the Family, OFPC receives no direct funding from Focus on the Family—or from any other group.

Instead—as is the case with most nonprofit organizations—individuals, families, businesses, associations, and foundations fund our work through annual or monthly tax-deductible gifts as allowed by law.

We invite you to join with other concerned citizens to support this important work in Oklahoma on behalf of the traditional family and conservative, Judeo-Christian values. Thank you for your consideration.

Oklahoma Family Policy Council & the IRS:

The Internal Revenue Service officially recognizes Oklahoma Family Policy Council as a Section 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization—a public charity. The Internal Revenue Code permits you to fully deduct the amount of contributions you send to OFPC, less the fair market value of any goods or services we provide to you in exchange for your gift. If no goods or services are provided to you by OFPC, then your gift is 100 percent tax-deductible.

Donor Research:

More information about the Oklahoma Family Policy Council—financial and other information helpful to current and prospective donors—can be found at GuideStar, a Web-site which contains a database of more than 850,000 IRS-recognized nonprofit organizations.

The GuideStar Web-site is produced by Philanthropic Research, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) public charity founded in 1994. GuideStar's mission is to revolutionize philanthropy and nonprofit practice with information. To visit GuideStar, click on the following link:

We also invite you to visit directly with members of OFPC's Board of Directors, OFPC Executive Director Michael Jestes, or other OFPC staff to learn more about OFPC and our mission. We will be pleased to meet with you and/or to assist you in performing your due-diligence research in any way possible. Again, we thank you for your consideration of our important family-strengthening work.

Record-Keeping Information:

Although it is OFPC's practice to thank donors personally or via private correspondence for their charitable gifts, it is not our policy to send an official receipt for every small or monthly contribution.

We do, however, want all our supporters to be informed about their giving history to OFPC. Therefore, every January or February, OFPC mails to all donors a cumulative charitable contributions receipt for tax purposes, acknowledging the total amount of giving to OFPC in the previous year.

As legally required by the IRS, all gifts given at any one-time that total $250 or more are acknowledged by OFPC contemporaneously by business letter following OFPC's receipt of your contribution. Our receipt letter provides you with the amount of your gift and the fair market value of any goods or services we provide to you in exchange for your donation, if any.

The OFPC Board and Staff deeply thank you for supporting the work of your Oklahoma Family Policy Council.
